Our Plan for Stanmore Ward

A re-elected Labor-led Inner West Council will deliver:

• Strong financial management, maintaining record investment in public services and infrastructure with no rate increases above indexation

• Safer streets, with reduced speed limits, raised pedestrian crossings near schools, and increased pedestrianisation

• more affordable housing, by partnering with the NSW Government for social and affordable housing on Council land and maintaining local planning controls

• improved parks and pools, with an extended swimming season at Fanny Durack Aquatic Centre, a new public toilet at Weekley Park, and pocket park upgrades

• local climate action, through soft plastic recycling, more tree planting, and a free energy efficiency services

• vibrant main streets with more live music, outdoor dining, and a community arts festival at Petersham Town Hall
